How to Cope with ADHD
How do you tell the difference between an ordinary rambunctious kid and one who has ADHD? And what do you do about it? Many people still believe that ADHD isn't a "real" diagnosis, or that it's the fault of the parent, or that the child is just out of control. But it's not that simple!
If your child seems very hyperactive and impulsive, or simply can't focus in school, you need to tune in to find out more. We'll tell you how ADHD is diagnosed, clear up some of the myths, explain the treatments that are available, and give you tips on how you can help your child at home. You'll meet the parents and kids who are trying to make those treatments work - and we'll give you a unique perspective from one boy who has ADHD, and what it's like to live life through his eyes.
