In addition to primary care, the NYCHP provides a wide array of additional services designed to address the complex health and psychosocial needs of homeless families. These include:

  • Mental health counseling and referral,
  • Case management and entitlements assistance,
  • Substance abuse prevention and referral,
  • Nutrition counseling and education,
  • Emergency food assistance,
  • Women's health care services,
  • HIV testing and counseling,
  • Subspecialty referral management,
  • Asthma treatment and education,
  • Early hearing screening,
  • Health education and outreach,
  • A pediatric literacy project, and
  • 24-hour, 7-day-a-week access to medical providers through a toll-free 800 number.

We provide comprehensive primary care services to homeless children, adults, and youth regardless of immigration/insurance status.
